Our Summer Conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 5 and 6.
It begins with the annual golf outing at Twin Lakes Golf Club and will once again be sponsored by Mercer. Bob Roeder has been the host for the event for many years and it is always a good time regardless of the skill level of the golfers--and you know who you are!
We've planned a special anniversary celebration for you at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (www.imamuseum.com) the evening of June 5. The art gallery will be opened before and after dinner and the event will be catered by Wolfgang Puck catering. We will also have a short program dedicated to the human resources successes in the last 40 years and what the future holds. The cost of the dinner event is only $20. Space is limited to the first 50 people who send in their registration fees.
On Friday, June 6, the seminar will be held at the Marten House Hotel and Lilly Convention Center in Indianapolis. Human capital development is the theme for Friday's sessions. We have several guest speakers that will discuss developing employees at every level of the organization. |

Does your organization have a Best Practice? Our annual meeting is the time to share your successes. Presentations from our members provide an opportunity to learn about HR practices that have been effective in other organizations. During last year's conference, attendees gained many new ideas about hiring and orientation practices from Bruce Wade who shared an Onboarding Process that has improved new hire retention at Bloomington Hospital.
