We are pleased to announce the 2006 recipient of the ISHHRA Paul W. Guy Memorial Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship was awarded to Molly Steele.

Molly is attending Ball State University with a major in Human Resources Management and a minor in Organizational Communication. Molly is expected to graduate in May, 2007.

This summer Molly participated in a human resources internship at Mutual Federal Savings Bank in Muncie, Indiana. She also spent her spring break shadowing Debbie Temple, Director of Human Resources at Kings Daughters Hospital and Health Services in Madison, Indiana. Debbie said, “Molly Steele is one of the finest young women I have ever met.”

ISHHRA received seven scholarship applications and while all were worthy recipients, we believe that our investment in Molly’s future HR career will reap rewards in years to come.
